Romans 5:8
"when we were in our sin, Christ Jesus came to die for us."
Romans 3:23
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Second Corinthians 5:21 says,
"He who knew no sin, became sin for us, that we may be made the righteousness of God through Him."
Romans 10:9-10
"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
Romans 10:13
"for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Ok so I know that I am a sinner, now what must I do to be saved and have eternal life?
Simply open your heart and talk to the Father, there is no magic thing to say, just talk to Him, He knows your heart. Below is a sample of what you may say to Him, Just know that He has brought you to this moment in time for this reason.
"Heavenly Father, I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ your Son died on the cross so that I may have forgiveness for all of my sins and to be with you for eternal life. I believe in my heart that you, Father, raised Jesus from the dead. Forgive me, for every sin that I have ever committed in deed or done in my heart.
Lord Jesus come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to lead and guide me to be the person that you want me to be. I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ."Amen.
Now that you prayed this prayer, welcome into the Body of Christ. If you do not have a Church family, find one. Begin to learn the scriptures. Listen for God to speak to you through His Ministers and Teachers.
