For each $5.00 donation to The Gathering of HIS Body that person will be given a ticket. That ticket will be one of 2000 tickets printed and handed out.
The drawing of the Ticket stub will happen at 12:45 PM on the day of The Gathering of HIS Body. The matching ticket held by the person who gave the donation is requested to be present at the 12:45 drawing.
The matching half of the ticket will be checked and the holder of the ticket will receive the 2000 Kawasaki Indian Drifter motorcycle.
The title will be signed over to the person who's ticket is pulled. (That is why the winner is requested to be present.)
The person who receives the motorcycle is responsible for any and all tax's based on the book value of the Motorcycle at the time that it is signed over to them.
That person is also responsible for any and all State fees required to register the Motorcycle. The Motorcycle will be left on display at the Gathering and may be picked up at or after 6 PM (or rode off if the person he/she receiving the motorcycle has a valid motorcycle license and has the proper safety helmet with them.) .
It was suggested that this is gambling, I do not look at it as such!
We need some way to raise funds and this seems like a great idea. Not only that, but this way I can say "thank you" to those who are donating to this yearly event. I am choosing to give my 2000 Indian Drifter to one of the people helping us. Of course if you my wish to just donate and you do NOT wish to get a ticket, just let us know. Just know this, however someone is getting this Indian, why not you?

Donations can be made in two ways;
You may contact us by e-mail and we use snail mail to receive the donation/s and in turn, you receive the tickets in the same manner.
The other way is by using the donate button and we will snail mail you, your ticket/s. Just remember to give us the address where to mail it/them
Keep in mind the donate button uses Pay-pal and they keep 10% which means the Gathering only receives $4.50 for every $5.00 sent to us by paypal.
