7/19/2010 We meet again in just a few days; I put out a call for help, as we need a stage manager for stage 2. The person who was going to manage that stage just was not able to. We are being held up at the moment because the next step is getting the printing of the program AND the newspaper ads listing the schedule of all the acts. Stage 3 is done, and I really thought Stage 2 would have been done by now but as stated the person who volunteered to run the stage just does not have the means to contact and keep in contact with the acts ministering at stage 2.
I am trusting in the Father to provide that man or woman to set up and into that position. The evil one will not win this battle, I know there is a man or a woman of God who is willing to serve the Body of Christ and who will step up and fill this open position.I sent out a e-mail plea to every man and woman of God that I know. Now it is up to the Holy Spirit to tug them into ministering and to be part of this blessing.
I know the Father will provide, I just do not have any idea who it is going to be at this very moment.
Remember our next meeting is at 7 PM on 7/22/10 (a Thursday evening) if you can, please join us at Crossroads Church on the corner of Division and Hwy 30 (S) They are allowing us to meet at their Church in support of this Gathering of His Body.

7/26/2010 We did accomplish a lot at the meeting, the steering committee finalized a lot of things. We had a donation of $500.00 that will cover the Port-A-Potties and what is left over will be used for the other places that require cash. One thing about free Concerts, they are not free to put together. Praise the Father for those that gave and who knows maybe he will have more gifts to come.
Another great gift the Father gave us was the Insurance for the event. It looks like it is coming together and there are just a few last minute things to get done (as there is every year.)
I have many area's we still need help in, I am praying that the Father will put it on the hearts of those he wants ministering at the Gathering serving our fellow body members.
Please pass this information on to as many as you can.
Now the last things (major things) are the ads for the papers and the last set of posters to be made listing the many people ministering in music.
We also have to get the radio PSA's out as well, we have one person working on that.
We are counting down the weeks and if you can make the next meeting please do. I would like to meet with those willing to work security and help in the other areas that we still need help in.

8/12/2010 Well a very interesting meeting tonight, such an important meeting and so many were not able to join us. We had so many things working against us. People sick, people caught at work, choir practice, I bet you name it and it got in the way of this evenings meeting.
No problem though because as you know this is being done to bring the body of Christ together for a day of praise and worship to the Father of us all. So there is no question who is with us in this endeavor and who does not want the event to go on and do what it is meant to do. I say, 'greater is He that is within us, then he that is in this world."
The only thing on the fence at the moment is the newspaper ads. Mark is working with the Christian radio stations and we are trying to get as much free advertisement out there as we can. I will be setting up the paid ads with Times Union, Recorder, and Leader Herald. We all need to pray that this money will be spent wisely to get the word out and the Father uses those ads, (paid for and the free publicty) to "gather" and bring His people to Riverlink park in Amsterdam for one day.
I counted up the different churches involved in this event, and so far we have over 22 different Churches involved in this Gathering. It is a blessing to see the Body of Christ coming together, working together all with one focus, all wanting to put aside doctrine for a day and just show the love we all have for Christ, being one with Him, as the he and the Father are one.
Our next meeting will be our last meeting BEFORE the event. This time we will meet on Sunday the 8/29 at 2 PM at the Riverlink Park. Bring a sack lunch, order at the park restaurant, or grab a bite before the meeting. The maps to it are on the first page along with the GPS Coordinates. We will go over everything and hopefully meet all of those involved and introduce who is working with whom I will show where the performers are parking, where the stages will be and other important items. I really doubt that the meeting will last more than 45 minutes, Oh it could but I do not thing so.
